QuickBooks panel discussion for Batch 2 has been conducted by DigiSkills.pk with the collaboration of Virtual University of Pakistan on 7th Feb-19. Freelancers and Industry experts Mr. Syed Hassan Adnan, Mr.Mian Muhammad Attif and Mr. Aqeel Shahzad were invited to talk about latest trends of QuickBooks in freelancing and guide the trainees how to choose a skill that best suits you. The purpose of this Panel discussions was to enhance trainee’s engagement and further increase the outreach of this project.
Syed Hassan Adnan has 25 years of experience in the field of Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Information; Communications Technology (ICT), ERP Implementation, IT Project Management, Systems Analysis; Design, Information Management, Network; Communication Infrastructure Setup and Systems Implementation. He has also 9 years of experience in the Engineering and Construction industry in the field of Industrial and Urban Planning and Development, Infrastructures Development.
Dr Mian Muhammad Atif is Assistant Professor of Finance at FAST School of Management, National University of Computer; Emerging Sciences, Lahore Campus. He joined FAST School of Management in 2017. Prior to joining FAST, Dr Atif has worked with GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology as Assistant Professor. He holds his PhD in Critical Finance studies from the Massey University of New Zealand. He has worked in many different environments including with renowned multinational organizations e.g. Manager Accounts Payable with KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co. (one of the big four accounting firms) and as Management Accountant with Ovex Technologies, Islamabad. Due to his industry experience he brings to table a diverse set of expertise encompassing both academic and professional concerns. His teaching and research interests encompass diverse areas including Critical Finance Studies, Corporate Finance, Financial Economics, Qualitative Research in Finance, Institutional and Corporate Governance, Critical Management Studies and Foucauldian Discourse Analysis.
Aqeel Shahzad is a Digital Marketing Trainer in e-Rozgaar (A project of Punjab Information Technology Board). He is also a Marketing strategist in the digital world and have helped many businesses across the world to showcase their presence online and have got their revenues higher by his marketing strategy implementations. He started his career as a Business Development Executive in DU Telecom (Dubai) and then there was a huge number of multinational companies as his clients. He then preferred his own setup so he got his entrepreneurial mindset into action and build own business as well.
Now, he conducts training on growing yourself online and working as a freelancer. Promoting his ideas and ways to help fresh graduates young blood get employment online by using QuickBooks and Digital Marketing.
